Overview Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Our Missions Committee consists of seven members including Men's Ministry Director, WMU Director, Vice-Chairman of Deacons, Youth Pastor, Outreach Minister, and two at-large members elected annually.

The committee:

  • plans trips and activities to get as many members involved in hands-on missions as possible.
  • seeks to find the needs of the community that the church can help meet.
  • seeks out the needy in our own congregation that needs a helping hand occasionally to do things for them that they are not able to provide for themselves.
  • will make the best possible use of the budgeted amount for local missions. 
Christmas Food Box Ministry
Local Mission: Baldwyn, MS

For the past several years we have been blessed to be able to serve the Baldwyn Community and surrounding area with a Food Box giveaway at Christmas time.  We have coordinated with other area churches that offer a companion ministry the same day.

Typically we start the day at 7:00 AM and offer a hot, sit-down breakfast at our location.  We have numerous volunteers to cook and serve guests and offer to pray with them.  When they are ready to leave, volunteers will carry a box loaded with various groceries to their car.

Our church has voted to partner and help support GracePoint Church in Destrehan, Louisiana through their ministry of growing in Christ and reaching out to the unchurched in the Greater New Orleans area. Their mission is to glorify God by engaging people in a lifelong relationship with Christ.
